Electrical Service Feeders A & B Replacement at Jacobi Medical Center Bronx, NY

During an electrical service shutdown by Con Edison, the utility company reported that the conductors of the 4000A electrical services A and B, each installed in 1956 had exceeded their functional life and were near failure. Furthermore, Con Edison required that new property line manholes be installed between the street and the property. Design services were provided for the manholes, duct bank layout, construction and service duct bank penetrations into the building while developing an installation scheme that protected the existing trees along the duct bank route.
